2011 - 2012 Season
| Fees: | $250 Program Fee Blackhawk Ski Club Membership Required Sign up on the Blachkawk Ski Club webpage |
| Season: | November 1st through March 6th. |
| Equipment: | Rentals Available at no charge for first year skiers, returning skiers recommended to have own boots and $100 fee for any other rentals including rollerskis |
| Location: | Most practices will be at Blackhawk Ski Club, Elver Park, Pleasant View Golf Course, and Eagle School |

This program is for high school students, grades 9-12, of all abilities. Skiers will focus on technique for skate and classical skiing along with developing fitness through strength, speed and endurance workouts. Practices are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 5:15-6:45 pm. Practices are held at Blackhawk, Elver Park, Eagle School and other places depending on weather conditions. Races are held on weekends around the state and Tuesday nights at Elver Park. Travel costs for races and race fees are not included. The season runs November 1st-March 6st. Racers are encouraged to purchase their own equipment. Participants need to be members of Blackhawk.

Tuesday 1/31 - 5:15 to 6:45 at Blackhawk East - Skate technique
HS Race at Elver -canceled.
Wednesday 2/1 - 5:15 to 6:45 at Blackhawk East - be prepared for either Skate technique or Classic technique
Thursday 2/2 - 5:15 to 6:45 at Blackhawk East - Skate Skis
Saturday 2/4- optional races - Wolf Tracks Rendevous, Badger State Games, Greenbush Races
Sunday 2/5 *** THE AMAZING RACE *** 11:00 - Blackhawk East Skate Skis

Important Announcements
Everyone must sign up on the Blackhawk web page. If you are not yet a member you can do that first and sign up at the same time. If you are already a member you can log in and select "Shop for Classes" Returning skiers renting equipment will select and pay online, new skiers select "I have my own equipment"
