Program Details
This Blackhawk Nordic Kids program is for elementary school students, grades K-5, of all abilities. Skiers will focus on learning to ski while having fun. Practices are held Sunday afternoons from 1:30 - 3:00 p.m. at the Blackhawk Ski Club East Chalet. Advanced skiers in the BNK program will have an opportunity to learn about racing, to participate in two fun races to be held in conjunction with the Elver Park Race Series, and to prepare for transition into the Middle School Program. The 2012 season runs from January 8th to March 4th. Coaching during practice is included in the program. This program is a partnership between MadNorSki and Blackhawk Ski Club. For an additional fee, participants can use Blackhawk boots, skis and poles for this program. Parents are required to volunteer and be on Blackhawk premises during program. Participants need to be members of Blackhawk Ski Club.
