Trail Run Fundraiser for CXC on Aug 16, 2009
A great trail run fundraiser for CXC will take place Sunday, August 16 at Elver Park. The run will include a 5.5k, 9k and 15.5k on the ski trails that we all love at Elver. In addition we will have a 5.5k untimed walk/nordic walk and a free kid's race. The run is a fundraiser for the CXC Elite team and specifically for the Adopt an Athlete program. The funds raised will go to adopt last year's Birkie winner Matt Liebsch. Matt will be at the race so you will have a chance to meet him and talk skiing. Info on the run is online at www.run4snow.com and registration is now open.
Update: A Cat Ski race has been added to the Run for Snow at Elver Park. The Cat Ski race will be a 5.5k race starting at 8:30 am right before the free kid's race. Then the running events start at 9 am. In order to get the Run for Snow t-shirt (with Kay Lum's awesome logo) you will need to register before August 8.
