Youth Fundraiser Dinner & Square Dance on Jan 07, 2010
Many of you have seen our High School and Middle School teams out on the trails at Elver, Pleasant View and Blackhawk not to mention the countless weekend trips we take to race and train. Our Kidski program has more than tripled in participation from last year to this year and they haven't even started skiing yet! None of this would happen without the many volunteers and donations that support us. We have purchased new equipment to start relplacing some of our worn out rentals and have the beginings of a new storage and waxing trailer at Blackhawk. We need your help to offset the costs of the new equipment and furnish our new tralier with storage racks and waxing equipment.
We know you've all been looking for more creative ways to get in shape for the Birkie and with how many laps you're doing getting dizzy at Elver it's time for a different type of aerobic workout. We know how much you like to socialize, just look at the attendance at the club meetings! So...
Come join us on Thrusday, January 7th for a Dinner and Square Dance.
East side VFW, 301 Cottage Grove Road.
Dinner from Po' Boys BBQ at 6:00pm
Dance with the Old Gray Cats 7:00-9:00pm, all dances are taught so no experience is necessary!
$15 a person, $40 family includes your dinner, a drink and dancing. Tickets available at the door.
There will also be a raffle with tickets sold at the door.
