Free XC Lessons @ Elver Park on Jan 19, 2010
FREE XC ski lessons, compliments of MadNorSki, will be offered Tuesday, January 19th, 6pm, at Elver Park. Limit of 50 skiers.
Lessons last about 1 hour. We meet inside the Elver Park Shelter. While the lessons are free you will need a ski pass to ski the city and county parks. If you need ski gear, Elver Park rents classic gear ($10 first hour, $5 each additional hour) which includes a trail pass. REI also rents classic gear but has skate gear as well. If renting gear from Elver Park, please get to the shelter a bit early to get your stuff (Elver Park has run out of rentals recently) and a trail pass if you need one.
