Free XC Lessons @ Elver Park on Feb 02, 2010
FREE XC ski lessons, compliments of MadNorSki, will be offered Tuesday, February 2nd, 6pm, at Elver Park Shelter. Limit of 50 skiers.
Lessons last about 1 hour. We meet inside the Elver Park Shelter. While the lessons are free you will need a ski pass to ski the city and county parks. If you need ski gear, Elver Park rents classic gear ($10 first hour, $5 each additional hour) which includes a trail pass. REI also rents classic gear but has skate gear as well. If renting gear from Elver Park, please get to the shelter a bit early to get your stuff (Elver Park has run out of rentals recently) and a trail pass if you need one.

Requests received after 2pm on Feb 1st, will be moved to the next offered lessons.
Since it will be Groundhog Day, a special prize will be awarded to the skier most closely resembling Bill Murray.
