Free XC Lessons @ Elver Park on Feb 11, 2010
We are moving the ski lessons to Thursday, February 11th, 6pm, at Elver Park due to the impending snow storm. Travel is supposed to be bad later on Tuesday and the trails will most certainly not be groomed, making instruction more difficult. Hope you can reschedule to Thursday. For those of you who have already contacted me for a Tuesday lesson, no need to contact me if you can make Thursday. Just send regrets if you can't make it.
The last FREE XC ski lessons of the season, compliments of MadNorSki, will be offered Thursday, February 11th, 6pm, at Elver Park Shelter. Limit of 50 skiers.
Lessons last about 1 hour. We meet inside the Elver Park Shelter. While the lessons are free you will need your own gear and a ski pass to ski the city and county parks. If you need ski gear, Elver Park rents classic gear ($10 first hour, $5 each additional hour) which includes a trail pass. REI also rents classic gear but has skate gear as well. If renting gear from Elver Park, please get to the shelter a bit early to get your stuff (Elver Park has run out of rentals recently) and a trail pass if you need one.
