Wife Carrying Contest, Wife Ferrying Contest, and Kid's Duck Carrying Dash

Habermann Park, Lodi WI
Of Finnish descent, a Wife Carrying Contest is a sport where a male competitor will carry his wife (however, she does not have to be the legal wife of the man) over a short obstacle course for the fastest time. Traditionally, the grand winner will take home the "wife's" weight in beer and cash!!
We're inviting you to come join us at this humorous event at Habermann Park during the Lodi Fair to support the Lodi XC Ski Club!! Spectators are most welcome.
