Minocqua Winter Park Muggy Buggy Fun Run on Jul 05, 2008
Can you outrun the deer flies? The Muggy Buggy Fun Run, a new Minocqua Winter Park summertime initiative, will take place at Minocqua Winter Park on Saturday, July 5th, with the first race to begin at 8:30 a.m. Registration and bib pick-up begins at 6:30 a.m. A fun, low key run/walk open to people of all ages, the Fun Run is on a soft surface and will not be computer chip timed. There will be a 10K Run, a 5K Run/Walk, and a 2K Kids Run. Awards will be given to the top three male and top three female runners in the age divisions.
Entry fees up to June 25th are $20 for the 10K, $18 for the 5K, and $10 for the 2K events. Each participant will receive a collectible T-shirt. On line entries can be made at Active.com. by clicking on http://www.active.com/event_detail.cfm?event_id=1562108
