    Classic Skiing + some technique: Warm up ski, a few drills, and easy ski cool down -- 60 to 75 minutes

    We are brining back the Ice Age Challenge Citizens Race!  How fun to race on a Sunday morning in the daylight!  We have multiple categories and distances to choose from – pick your challenge!

    Ice Age Challenge 5K, 10K or 20K
    Date:     January 4, 2026 
    Challenge Events: 

    • 10K Classic starts at 9:30 am
    • 20K Skate starts at 10:00 am
    • 5K Freestyle (Skate or Classic) starts at 10:15 am

    Registration will open up on our Race Page when the date get closer and we can assess the snow conditions.

    How to create sustainable systems in your daily life so you can eat well for performance plus MORE nutrition & supplement tips.

    We will create a resource table for members to browse for easy and tasty recipes and cookbooks to inspire you in the kitchen. Have a favorite recipe or cookbook?  Bring it to add to our table!  Get your phone ready to snap photos of recipes.

    About our presenter:  Tara Larowe is a Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD), a credential that requires over 1,500 hours of sports related nutrition practice and completion of an exam every five years. Just over 1,000 dietitians nationally maintain this certification.

    Please RSVP!  Free for members, suggested donation for non-members of $10 to help cover the costs.

    Ski De She Madnorski Trail Women Weekend

    Location: Cable, WI 54821, USA

    Great on-snow lessons, good speakers, and a fun getaway focusing on skiing! We rented the same awesome Farm House with Sauna for this winter and will be going up again to experience the Ski De She events and beyond! This year we will plan an outing to classic ski at Rock Lake or Mukwonago Ski Trails for those not doing the full Ski de She camp. There will be 10 women at the Farm House. Some are doing the race, others the She de Ski Camp and race, and lots of other ski trails in the area to explore!  New this year -- three nights stay at the farm house (Fri, Sat, and Sun) so more skiing!!
