Olbrich Park -near the base of the sledding hill and across the bike path. Someone made some decent classic tracks that make a quarter mile track loop. Not groomed good, but pretty good with city skyline and lake views. Not worth driving to but maybe worth a walk if you live nearby!
The best it has been! A dusting of snow and full re-grooming have made a significant difference. Could use "A" skis, but I used A-/B+ for a little more peace of mind!
Groomed all the trails today around noon, the skate deck is firming up. Reset 80% of the classic tracks, some vegetation sticking through in a few places, the active snow should help cover.
Excellent conditions for early December. Skate deck soft in most areas, but overall good coverage.
Trails are in fair conditions and were rolled on Dec. 1st. Average base is around 2" and you can expect thin, wet and icy spots. *Flint Rock Trails was not rolled, and the campground plowed for ongoing Hazard Tree Removal. It was good to have skiers back yesterday at University Ridge! We groomed again today and and reset track. Trails are looking good. Open 9-5pm today. Please check in with the golf shop.
