Trail Condition

Lots of people out enjoying the sunshine and excellent classic tracks. Thanks groomers! Skate deck was firm, but slow from the cold.

Hate to say it, but there's just too much snow. Bring your backcountry skis and poles if you have them. The woods are manageable but out in the open areas along M, it's a real slog.

It said minus 11 on the thermometer at 8am, but felt much warmer than that. Slow going, but can’t complain when we’ve got snow on the mound! Tracks were a little washed out in a couple of places either due to drifting or overlap with a second pass of grooming. A couple of minor stretches (30-50 yards or so) of the intermediate path didn't have tracks at all, but it wasn't a problem. The vast majority of tracks were perfect and the …

Groomers did an excellent job rolling and grooming. The only reason I don’t give it an excellent is the drifting which is unavoidable is the open areas.

Most of the golf course trails are groomed for skating. The Upper Field trail is groomed for skating and classic. We had a grooming equipment issue early this morning and are working on fixing it.

Trail was excellent when I first arrived early afternoon, but unfortunately soft, so after several hundred skiers, there were portions that were completely obliterated. Staff did a great job w so much new snow, but the trail needs attention already. Thanks groomers.

The classic tracks were very good in sheltered places at CXC and on the golf course, but in open areas of the golf course especially, the tracks were snow filled. Despite this, an enjoyable ski with a lot of sunshine late morning.
