Trail Condition

Trails are soft especially with how many people are out and about. East side by sledding hill has some pine needle debris but fairly easy to avoid. Overall, there’s a nice base and the snow is fast despite how much traffic it’s seen.

We have run into some significant equipment issues that we will not be able to fix at this time. All trails closed until further notice.

Trails are in excellent shape. Tons of people enjoying the snow, so it was a little crowded. Not too bad once you get further out and away from the main trail hubs.

At 11 am the main skate deck loop at CXC was firm/fast in a few sections and a bit soft in the rest. The deck has been widened in the past two days, which is a great improvement. At the golf course trails, the skate deck was soft and deep in most sections, and has …

City site says groomed but there are only citizen tracks and the skate deck is very soft. Kudos to the skiers on making decent tracks but it would be nice to have groomed tracks.

Arrived 8am and found perfect conditions considering the heavy snow and high winds! Hats off to Yuriy and the crew for providing excellent conditions! Sorry, we will be closed for skiing today. We have not been able to get in to get the groomer yet. Once we do we will start rolling all trails.
