still about 2-4" of cover at the mound-the trails were not groomed at all-most had foot travel so I went on top and made my own trail around the open area by the lookout towers, after a few laps had a decent track- couple of skaters out -but I elected to classic as too much …
Not much, but you can get around. About 800 meter lap. Best snow is on the longer hill in the shade. Other spots are thin and icy with some rocks and dirt. Thanks to Yuriy for doing what he can!
Passable conditions. Seems to be melting pretty quickly from below. Get it while you can.
It’s not a “no go”, but it is close. Loop is shortened (yes… even shorter than before). Trail is two-way in places. Surface is very compact. Still can edge, but marginally. Unless you are really hurting for board time, best to wait till it cools down so that Yuriy can fire up the snow guns …

I skate skied early am just as the Ginzu was finishing up grooming. Surprisingly good considering the warm temp of 44F. The loop had varied conditions from good to a few icy spots-good spots were from the recently made snow. l left after a couple hours, by then, the good snow was pretty churned up. …
Blackhawk will be closed 12/22-12/26 to try to preserve as much snow as possible during this time. Plan is to re-open 12/27. Thank you.
Groomed and decent conditions on their snowmaking loop for skating. No classic track. Snow added to the east end allowing a wider turnaround. Hill 2 open for climbing. Hope the upcoming rain is minimal.
Groomed around 6am with Pisten Bulley for classic and skating. Trail is about 1km long with rolling terrain. There is good amount of snow in the piles to repair icy sections if needed but we will plan to do it after the warm weather and rain. Our goal is to make more snow once we …
