Social Ride – Cap City Trail, TACOS, and meet others

When? – Monday, Sep 15 at 5:30 PM

Who? – MadNorski members who like to ride bicycles!

Meeting point– Olin Park parking lot, 5:30 pm or along route.

Capital City Trail route – This is a well-loved bike loop that travels past many of our rollerskiing training spots and is about 16-18 miles total. Almost all of it is on bike trail. We will do the loop "clock-wise" starting at Olin Park. The ride will end at Bandit Tacos but some folks will likely ride back to Olin eventually if they parked a car there (18 miles total).

Pace – Slow! It’s time to chat and get to know each other. 

Stop – For those interested, we can stop near the end of the ride for TACOS! just off the bike trail. Location: Bandit Tacos & Coffee at 640 West Washington. Estimated time of arrival at Bandit Taco is around 7 pm.

Needs – Bike Lights!! – front and back; other safety equipment – helmet and gloves; spare tube, patch kit, CO2 or pump; some $$ for beverages and food.  State Trail Pass is required.

Madnorski instructors in partnership with Madison Parks Learn-to-series will offer free Nordic walking lessons over the summer. The dates for these lessons are listed below. Participants do not need to bring poles -- we will fit you with poles when you arrive. If you already have walking poles, feel free to bring them! Participants must register in advance at Madison Parks Learn-to-series.

Meet up location: Parking lot near new open shelter
