I skied all week and some last week. I usually go early in the day. I'm not a great skater so I do a little of both. I've skied more this year so far, than the past two years. The volunteer groomers always do a great job. Both platforms generally. Be careful along the tree …

Refreshed the skate deck on all trailsn as of 11a. Tracks are still solid with a little drifting in open areas. The East trails are especially nice and mostly free of leaf litter. Bundle up this weekend and enjoy before the mid week melt 🙁

Blue Mounds Staff calls it good, I say excellent. Not sure how they covered asphalt in camping area, but I did not see any. There is a fair bit of debris in camping area but everyplace else is great!

Groomed all the trails for skating and put new classic tracks on the open areas of the golf course and the lower CXC trail. Lots of leaf debris on the trails.

Nice skate surface but icy. The trsil by the stream is not tracked for skating. Wonderful fast track and the classuc tracks were great also.We need fresh snow to make it excellent.Compared to last year, the skiing is great.I skied more times this year than all of last year.

Excellent conditions, except for a bit of leaves. Skate deck was pretty fast today – starting to think wearing a helmet wouldn't be a crazy idea!

I agree withe other reviewers. Skating was excellent with nice fresh corduroy, especially on the trails adjacent to Blackhawk where there had been less traffic. Climbs and descents were in good shape. Classic tracks looked very good also.

Very good to excellent skating on Fern Dell, Turtleville, and Hastings loops. A few rough patches on Turtleville, but overall very nice.
