Nice day out at Odana! Some mushy spots, but overall good.

Maple Bluff Country Club Narrow skate lane was there at 1:30. Groomer was hard at work on classic tracks, partially ready at 2:30. Some leaf litter, but it is November! Some walkers and dogs on tracks. Beautiful weather! Easy parking! Free!
McCarthy Park
Deck was soft. More effort needed to ski. Hard to glide. Classic tracks looked great. Should have used classic skis today. Deck should get firmer and fun with more skiing on it.
Elver Park
Great conditions given the past two years. Skate deck was varable. Skied A skis with no issues.
Blue Mound SP
Not yet groomed. Soft skier made tracks. Great to be out.
Elver Park
11:30 Westside was groomed & tracked (except for the 2 bigger hills). A little soft, but mostly good coverage. Only noticed one small bare spot, but a few spots where you could see some color through the thin snowpack. Overall very nice for November on "B" skis (I used A-/B+ skis)!
McCarthy Park
All the trails have been rolled & groomed for both classic and skate. The sledding hill has been groomed and the snowshoe trails have been packed. Overall conditions look good, expect some drifting, shoe looks to be firming up nicely.
CXC Outdoor Rec Center
The CXC trails were groomed with the snowcat for skating only. Excellent conditions, very firm, fun to ski, and have no drifting. The golf course trails were groomed with pull-behind equipment for both skating and classic. The deck is softer, with some drifting in the open areas. We decided not to take the risk of …

Work in progress. This evening we rolled and compressed that wonderful snow. The trails won’t be good for skiing until we get back to put down some corduroy Sunday morning. Please be patient and let the trails set. They should be primo after 10a. 🤞❄️❄️❄️
CXC Outdoor Rec Center
All trails were rolled this evening from 6-9pm. We will most likely groom most of the trails tomorrow morning. We tested grooming a short section of the trail after rolling, and it should groom very nicely early tomorrow morning. Please remember trails open at 8am.
