Elver Park
Mid winter conditions. Only 3 spots where the snow was a little thin and dirt was coming through, but those are easily avoided, and should get covered over with tonight's snow. Hardly any need for rock skis this year – amazing!

Groomed East & West trails both classic & stake
Trails were freshly groomed this afternoon. Both the intermediate and the easy trails were great, thanks groomers!
Groomer was fininishing on West side 11am. Thank you! I think either MadNorSki or the City has groomed every day since November 29. Kept things mostly in good to very good condition (exceptional, if you grade on a curve for early December!!). Only real issue is some blown-in leaf litter, primarily on the W side.
Skied Ferndell Turtleville Hastings Pioneer Ishnala. All were recently groomed but with fresh 1" snow this morning made the skate lane deck fairly slow. A few thin spots here and there. Also fairly uneven in places-more snow coming should take care of that. The state really butchered Turtleville with logging. Am told logging is done …
Not sure what's going on at Blue Mounds, but I've been there twice since the big snow storm and i'm not finding classic ski grooming at all. Went for an hour this morning and only skied 2 times around the yellow easy loop, but I couldn't see that there's been any classic grooming there or …
Wow, great skiing! Tracks were fast and the snow coverage was excellent. Nice to have such great early season conditions.
Good to minor fair spots. Skied Monday night. Almost all full coverage. Tracks are there. A little more snow will provide deeper tracks and cover some debris, but I’m not complaining at all after the last two seasons and it’s still early season. We almost all trails except didn’t do campground area.
Excellent at 6:00 this morning. Lots of drifting so open areas will just be okay. Put in all new classic tracks plus skating.
The groomer was out! Skier-made tracks were fun in the fresh snow; freshly groomed tracks even better. Some marsh vegetation poking through where you'd expect but overall excellent coverage. Forgot how much fun Lake Farm was for a more laid-back nature-ish classic ski with fewer people.
