I found today to be excellent. There were practically no thin spots or ice. Tracks were well-formed and firm almost everywhere. Great skiing. Grooming team has been doing amazing work. Even two days ago snow was added to some low spots. We notice those kind of things!!
Recently groomed – very enjoyable conditions. Deck is hard enough to skate. Snow last night covered more. Some thin spots, but I used A skis shifting out of tracks a couple times.

Good to fair on the Morningside trail as it has not been groomed, and the parking lot they usually leave snow on to make it a loop is plowed to pavement. I looked on the DNR's web site, and Morningside is now listed as a hiking/snowshoeing trail exclusively, not a cross country ski trail. I …
