Grooming the skate lane at 2pm. Few more thin spots today, but still quite nice.

Solid snow coverage and freshly groomed this morning. The deck was was very soft. There were some hiking footprints but they were off to the side so it didn't disrupt the skiing. Beautiful day!

At 11 am the skate deck at the Pleasant View trails were covered and in good overall condition. A bit soft. Maybe 5% is thin and/or exposed frozen slush.

Oh happy days! Beautiful out there. Deck is clean, white, and well groomed. Just a tad on the soft side. So nice to be able to get out so early this season. Praise to Ullr. Get out there and enjoy!

Touch up grooming this morning. Hardening up, so conditions for both classic and skate are good. Track fully set throughout park.

Citizen tracks on rolled snow. Two sidewalk crossings (one snow-covered, one bare). Nice to explore new trails (for me) on the East Side.

Trails freshly groomed this morning and range from good to excellent. Trail mostly firm and mostly smooth due to expert handling of lots of snow on top of no base. Nary a rock, bring your A skis

track looked good but skate deck pretty beat up-needs grooming. Does the city have a planned grooming schedule for the trails? be nice to know.

Did the Pioneer trail but it's completed ungroomed and untracked. A bit difficult to deal with because of the thick snow. There are (now) home made tracks on Pioneer. From what I saw Fern Dell Trail is packed and in good condition. Note, historically Turterville Trail was a nice and scenic add-on to Fern Dell…but …
