Started with the Gator this morning and had to switch to the Piston Bully. Did my best, reworked the classic tracks and groomed the skating.

Hats off to groomers tilling up and grooming the trails. Early this am trail was in excellent condition! probably the best conditions I've experienced here all year! However as winds and temp picked up trail became soft after a couple hours. Hopefully will survive wind and sun today.

What a difference the Piston Bully makes! The entire man made snow trail system is very skiable and in good conditions. As the temps warm up, it will probably get a bit sticky. Thanks to everyone who made this possible!!

made a trip up to Winter Park in Minocqua. Was a treat to ski on REAL SNOW! About half the trails were open with firm base and fresh groom on top . Although base was thin in spots but full coverage on the trails groomed -forecast to get 3" snow saturday nite so should really …

All trails are groomed for both classic and skate skiing. Chip and I made multiple passes to break up the hard surface between 5:30 am and 8 am with Pisten Bulley and Gator, and conditions should be excellent throughout the day until temperatures rise. Thanks to Charlie for getting Pisten Bulley back in business!

First I want to thank Chip for all he's doing to keep CXC skiable. Sections this morning were good, fair and poor, hence the overall Fair rating. The best snow was on the "power line" where it is shaded. Some sections are just solid ice. Overall you can ski, just be careful in the areas …

Very icy this morning. Scratched up for skating the best I could with the.Gator. Grooming for classic was not possible and I tried to get push some snow in the tracks. Classic looks okay but very icy. Hopefully we get the Piston Bully fixed soon and we get snow.

Slow going today with the warm snow. Skate deck had good coverage but there were thin spots and stuff poking through the classic tracks along the field

I set some new classic tracks and went over skating numerous times. I do read everyone's comments and appreciate the positive and helpful feedback.
