Skied golf course. 50% good, 40% grass/leaves, 10% exposed cart path/gravel/cautions. Some sections were excellent. If you watch for cautions, fun to be had

Surorisingly good given the 7-ish" of snow. Recommend B-skis to be on the safe side, but good coverage. Only a few thin spots or grass/brush poking through on the outer loop (coming into, and out of, campground primarily).

Park has groomed Hastings, Fern Dell and Turtleville for skate, but not classic. No other trails are groomed. Skied Hastings which was a nice experience…but the edges were a bit leafy and brushy in spots. Not a huge deal and still in good shape…but we really needed more snow. The club is snowmaking along a significant portion of Siberian Hwy. Fair for classic, looked great for skate. One set of tracks on part of the Hwy, but it’s good!

East and west trails refreshed this morning. “B” skis recommended with thin coverage and some debris.

The snowmaking loop has been groomed for both skating and classic skiing, excellent conditions. The golf course trails have been groomed for skating only, with a mix of very thin spots and some great stretches. Snowmaking is currently underway on the Upper Field Trail. Thanks so much to the groomers! It's wonderful to be back skiing at Elver. I recommend rock skis, there's a lot of sticks coming through the snow and other debris in some areas. Other areas are nearly perfect. Worth getting out before next week's probable rain.

Corduroy was nice and fast, no classic track yet and a few sticks, but great early skiing. Much better than my basement norditrack.

We groomed mid-day. No tracks set. Drifting in some open areas. Soft, but ok coverage in most areas. Thin across marsh and in drifting areas. 60/40 good/fair.

Skied just before groomer started to groom at 12:00. Hill by farm was great and teails around little and big woods good. Trails in big open fields were drifzed over partially. Trails near woods by parking lot were good except the top return part. I bet the grooming will hrlp. Some grass in open field …
