Kinda brutal today. Felt colder than it was. Tracks are well formed, but being full of fresh powder made for slow going. Skating will be smoother and faster if you’re trying to decide which style to go with today. Cheers!

BlackHawk Ski Area

Groomers took another pass at breaking up the icy base last night and it was pretty good with just a few hard sections. Classic tracks in most of the normal areas, some were worn and some looked new.

CXC Outdoor Rec Center

I went over the skating trail 5-6 times with the Gator to break it up. Should be okay and pretty skiable. Piston Bully has a hydraulic leak that we are working on.

Good coverage. Very clean snow. Hard deck. Uphills getting a tad chewed up and grainy, but not bad. Some flats are a bit roller coastery. But again, very manageable. Come on out before the big fridge descends upon us.
