Skied the Northwest Trail today and it was in good shape (for both classic and skating). There is some leaf litter close to the southeast corner, but for the most part the trails were in great shape, and should stay that way into Sunday before next week's big melt. Same observation here as reported Friday for Cherokee Marsh. There's plenty of snow (!) but it's been rolled, with no tracks for classic skiing. Alas, the surface was so hard-packed on Friday that the few skiers there (including me) couldn't make their own tracks, either. Otherwise, conditions might have been excellent. Instead, they're just so-so.

Grooming is going very well this morning. All trails should be done by noon but most classic trails will be done by 10am. Please check into the golf shop. Open 9-5pm today, Sunday and Monday with grooming every morning.
Trails were rolled and groomed but no track set. Firm packed base with skied-in tracks in spots but I mainly just kicked my way around with some older waxable touring skis.
