Got out around 1pm, looked like skate deck had been recently groomed. Overall good skate deck from the lower bowl, up through the West side woods. Cold weather has just made it relatively slow out going there.

Excellent track for classic. Best skiing here in years. Appreciate the “No Hiking” signs strategically placed throughout. Hopefully locals wont ignore them.

Skied 2 laps of Pleasant View and CXC on perfectly groomed trials with sunny skies and calm winds. Was 4F at 8am when I started but didn't feel cold at all. Surprised how few folks were out.

Stopped at Gov Nelson around noon on Thursday 1/17 and the trailhead looks pretty poor. No tracks and beat up. It needs grooming. Note that I did not ski so this is just what I saw at trailhead.

Skied Token Creek Thursday night, ended ski just before 6 pm. Trails were fully covered, a little debris especially under the pines, but tracks were decent with only a few minor washed out areas and walkers on the trails were minimal.

Grooming the skate trails again today. The drifting has made grooming very challenging. Soft in some areas that have a lot of snow. We'll continue to make laps and pack in the snow. Open 9-5pm today. Please check in with the golf shop. Thanks.

There is a fair track on all loops south of the parking area. Numerous down limbs & trees has evidently delayed grooming while clean-up progresses. It didn't appear that the blue loop north from the parking area was groomed for either skate or classic. Hopefully it improves for the weekend.

I skied the entire trail system. As far as I could tell, I was one of the first skiers to ski the trails since the county groomed yesterday. The tracks, where they existed, were deep, firm and fast. Kick on my skin skis was ok. Pole plants were generally on the soft side, but that …

I arrived around noon…the skate deck was a bit hard packed for me the first stretch… but then I saw it… corduroy! What a difference! I skied the east side, west side and parts in between and it just got better! Thank you so much to the groomers!
