We were able and to get the groomer working. Should have the Zimmer and other classic trails open by 1pm. Open 1-4pm today. Please check in with the golf shop. Open 9-5pm tomorrow.
Skied Fern dell and Turtleville yesterday noon- The trails need lots of work-wasn't groomed looks like for the past several days- bumps and uneven. This place used to groom their trails on a regular basis- not so much anymore. Very disappointing.
Blowing snow has filled in most of the classic track. The dry snow is a bit slow and squeaks like styrofoam. Only ok for classic.

Brrrr …. but hats off to County groomers for getting a track set despite some drifting along Lake Waubesa. One lonely walker decided to stop around out there, putting big boot holes in the track. Signage will not stop someone that determined to break the rules at -2F
Skied at the west loop this morning. Good track except in the open where the wind filled the track. Downhill has a lot of snow. So it was easy to stay in control. Skate deck has been well used but was still flat with a decent edge. Snow is slow because it is -5F but …
