Skied today around 4 pm. It was wonderful. Soft spring snow. Tee shirt weather. No one else skiing when I was there but there were tracks so someone else also enjoyed the first day of spring on the snow. Snow will certainly be fine tomorrow … and then rain comes in and who knows what …

Siberian Hwy is a complete ice rink with corduroy grooves. Lots of ice chunks too. The coverage is still good. Horrible grooming for today. They have the equipment to make that loop so much better-extremely disappointing.
Quite skiable, but very noticeably degraded since my last report. Sugary conditions. Couple of lightly iced spots. But good edging and control available on the loop. The end is sadly near. If you need one last go, this and probably tomorrow are very likely your last chances. ¡Adios amigos!

I skied about 4.5 miles, it was not good as reported there were long lengths of bare ground in the tracks. Everything was glazed over with ice so I had frequent times of near uncontrolled speed in deep tracks and stepping out was hazardous as the deck was rutted and frozen. My reason for the …
