From posts on SkinnySki.com and other sites, it appears portions of ABR, the Birkie Trail and Minocqua Winter Park are opening this weekend. More trail operators in other parts of the state are in the process of gaining agreements from landowners to open portions of their venues, as well.
In many cases, ski trail easements begin on Dec. 1, so this exceptional early season snowfall has many venues working extra hard to try to create opportunities for all of us skiers. Please be sure to thank them for their extra efforts and spread MadNorSki cheer.
