Thanks to Josh Nemec's report on SkinnySki that the trails were groomed early this morning, Joanie and I made a spur-of-the-moment decision to make the 1 hour and 45 minute drive here from Ftichburg. The trails had just enough snow to be in very good condition overall, with solid skate decks and tracks. We strided all the trails and then did a short cool down on skate skis to finish the day.
