Surprised on conditions early this morning-survived the rain showers. Skied Ferndell, parts of Turtleville, Hastings and Pioneer.
All with solid base with just enough top snow to get a good edge, slight ice topping early morning to make in fairly fast.
Ferndell and Hastings had best coverage except for some leaf debris-thin areas under the pines with roots and bare spots sticking thru. avoided the hills on Turtleville and pioneer due to bare spots. Really started to soften up mid morning. hopefully will survive until the snow forecast Saturday. tracks varied to good to washed out.
