MOUNT VALHALLA (Washburn, WI): Joanie and I returned to these trails for the second time this week. We strided the A and B loops on the Valkyrie classic-only system, but not the C loop, because it appeared a track was set on on the first steep hill after the B loop cutoff (it is difficult to slow down/stop on a steep downhill with a track set down the middle). Otherwise, the grooming and tracks were nice and solid. We then strided the A, B, and C loops on the Teuton combination trails. The tracks and skate lane were also solid and in excellent condition.
