Fresh groomed Wednesday night (3/1/23). Set up firm over night. Softened up to ideal conditions midday. I disagree that morning grooming is best this time of year. It would make the trail way too soft. We would just end up with a slushy trail and deep ski ruts. It takes time and cold for a trail to firm up to ideal conditions after grooming. Not enough cold this time of year during the day. Night grooming is best practice.
