Expected better today. 9+ inches of snow on the ground and 26F overnight and today-potential for some fantastic skiing (CXC and Blackhawk are the only trails that are still grooming in the area that I am aware of). It appeared some of the trails were groomed last night. Flatish and hard surface, but with 1+ inch of ungroomed snow on top. Upper field has some very thin areas. Lots of bare cart paths to avoid on the golf course. Round-A-Lot was definitely not groomed at all. It was rutted throughout-just plain terrible. I did not ski the lower black trails (challenger/access to Blackhawk). Hoping for better conditions the next few days before the weather changes and the season likely ends.
