Mirror Lake groomed Hastings and Fern Dells on March 18th (no other trails). I skied Fern Dell today (March 19th). Conditions are not ideal. There are no tracks, there are some icy spots and the snow is a bit stiff. There are also ~10 large brown spots that you have to duck walk though. The worst parts of the trail are along the east end by the parking lot. All that said though, I had a good time conditions weren't that bad as a whole. Conditions were fast and surprisingly enjoyable especially for skating. Hastings is more shaded and might be in better shape. Not sure if both trails will survive today's warm front.
