Skied until about 3:15 – on all of the loops. Tracks were in great to excellent condition, even with lots of folks out there today! Solid kick on skin skis, on all uphills. Flats slow, maybe because the snow is still cold. Downhills – the descent into the campground, the plunge, and Pleasure Valley – looked worse from the top than they actually were once I started down. Some ruts, sitzmarks, footprints (on PV), but navigable. Overall, fantastic ski. I stopped in the office and learned that the park staff general grooms Monday and Friday (though this week it was Thursday), with a volunteer groomer (insert multiple heart emojis here) possibly out there on the weekends.
