Conditions are actually improving since the base is melting down to the level of the hiker tracks. Fun and fast but still not groomed as of 6pm Tuesday evening. Calling conditions "good" since the mound still has snow. 2-6" base throughout, except for a few thin patches below the conifers in the Pleasure Valley loop, and in upper Walnut Prairie. Still lots of hiker tracks, which fade away the further you get from the parking lot. Maybe park staff will groom if/when it's below freezing. Downhills less tricky since the ski tracks have melted to the level of many hiker/runner tracks and frozen ski tracks. . Still fun, enjoy it while you can. The south-facing areas on the pleasure valley loop are still holding snow, but the trail above the asphalt between the campground and Military Ridge trail has melted out in a few places. Skate deck in the campground more trampled by hikers since last post, but still skiable.
