Just an update to John's report. Amazing what a quarter inch of new snow can do for base that is just hanging on. Skied until 4 p.m. Monday. Grip was good with crown base. I just want to alert people that on the Eastside loop there is 1) a little patch of what sounded like partly exposed frozen cones, sticks and maybe gravel on the west end of the loop, down the little southern-exposed drop through the pines, and 2) a little patch of something gravelly near the center of the long descent on the east end of the loop, that then turns sharp left to head west to the base of the sled hill. It's about 2/3 of the way down. So use a little caution and may side-step down to investigate first. 3) Because track was earlier set so expertly, there is also 250 m of mostly superb deep and firm set CL track on the south part of the loop "where the sun don't shine." There are just a couple small bits of exposed grass in the bottom of that track. It's a great stretch!
