Elver Park

In the early afternoon Sunday, conditions were deteriorating. West wooded loops were still GOOD, and all the hill loops afforded good control as long as you shift your balance when transitioning from faster shade to sticky sun. Ball field loop was developing extensive grassy streaks. Climbs up the East side were still protected from the sun and offer Very Good climbing. The inner loop atop the ridge was developing lots of open grassy spots, especially in the CL track bottoms. Piney drop was in strong sun and compels removing skis to walk down 60 feet. Open area east of skating rinks also are getting very thin and grassy. In the event that a current forecast for 6" of wet snow/mix comes true Wed – Thur, will there be any city staff or volunteer remains to groom trails, for those "Left Behind" from not being pulled up to the Hayward area 'Rapture'?
