Nice snow, but it is of the type that consolidates slowly. Park staff were out running two groomers Thursday and Friday. Conditions were still on the soft side Friday afternoon. Trails were almost complete tracked when I left Friday afternoon.
With snow like this, best practice is to groom flat and give the snow time to firm up. After that a good track can be set. This is what the park staff was doing. The were not ignoring classis skiers.
