Fair to good conditions. Groomed the man-made snow loops for skating. Groomed most of the golf course and added classic tracks.
Quite good snow coverage- overall grading good/fair. The kids/front loop was practically pristine- could do A skis if you just stayed there, for example if you wanted to do some quick tuneups before a race this weekend. Everywhere else B skis was a good idea, some dirt/thin spots here and there.
Most trails were touched up at 3 this afternoon. Skate deck has firmed up quite a bit. Some excellent stretches, some with drifted snow, and other places with bare spots. Classic tracks in most places, but at least a few bare spots in those as well. Overall enjoyable skiing though!
Classic tracks were in good shape without many sticks or ground poking through. Be careful out there though! There are some uneven downhills that should be skied cautiously and a big patch of ice right after a blind downhill corner. That first patch of ice could really use a warning sign so people can slow …
Trail really firmed up and leveled out. New snow filled in nicely making cart path and gravel cautions largely a thing of the past. Cold dry friction makes glide hard to come but, but overall best natural snow skating of the season in our area. Nice job grooming crew.
Lots of drifting. Groomed skating and added some new classic tracks. Some areas are pretty light on snow but overall should be good to excellent.
I don’t know much about grooming, but it seemed some grooming has been done for skating, but the track seemed blown over by snow in a number of areas. That said, it was decent skiing even in those patches, with virtually no grass/roots. Altogether quite decent – too bad forecast is so cold.
Giod for classic but skate teack had snow but not rolled and vwry veey skow.if you go I sugfest classic sjis only
Inch of powder on groomed surface. Didn't see tracks, but some appeared skied in.
