Nordic Walking

Discover the Benefits of Nordic Walking – A Fun & Effective Full-Body Workout!

Join our Thursday Nordic Walking Group and experience a low-impact, full-body exercise that enhances fitness, improves posture, and makes outdoor walking more engaging and effective! Bring your classic poles (or poles a bit shorter) and come join us. Typical workout lasts just a bit over an hour.  We do a dynamic warm up, lots of Nordic walking up and down the trails, and end with stretching. In the fall, we add a period of intervals or dryland technique instruction that will help your skiing!  This is a friendly bunch and we welcome you!

Why Nordic Walking?

Boosts Cardiovascular Health – Burn more calories than regular walking
Engages the Whole Body – Works your arms, core, and legs simultaneously
Low-Impact & Joint-Friendly – Ideal for all fitness levels
Enhances Posture & Stability – Reduces strain on the back and knees
Perfect for the Outdoors – Enjoy nature while staying active
