MOUNT ASHWABAY (Bayfield, WI): Our first visit here in many years, Joanie and I circled the trail system on many of the single-track classic only trails, including Deer Path, Sugar Bush, and Oppendahl's Alley. The tracks appeared to have been groomed recently with some fresh powder on top, and pole plants were still solid. These trails go through scenic woodlands and have a good flow, with gentle climbs and descents. They appear to be two-way, which is unusual for classic-only trails.
