The CXC trails were groomed with the snowcat for skating only. Excellent conditions, very firm, fun to ski, and have no drifting.
The golf course trails were groomed with pull-behind equipment for both skating and classic. The deck is softer, with some drifting in the open areas.
We decided not to take the risk of packing the snow on the golf course trails with the snowcat, as the ground is not frozen and is still wet.
