Elver Park

Condition applies to snowmaking loop, still going strong despite snow softening by 10:00. Also skied a couple final laps on the East Trail. Coverage is still good up there, except for 50' bare ground gaps on the two south-facing segments. We and others were taking skis off on that downhill. With grooming there over for the season, there are some hard crust stretches that remain completely shaded, but were still skiable above 40 degrees F. I'd rate the East trail overall as Very Good to Fair, and for the very dedicated. Like Brian says, it's melancholic to see the snow fade – but that means biking is here, with canoeing and kayaking not far off! Talked to one skier who said the West trail is still skiable, but with due caution.
